Behind the Art

"You can be anything you want to be when you get older!"

At the time I thought I wanted to become a veterinarian. Who wouldn't want to work with animals all day? Holding kittens, walking dogs and talking to birds. It seems like a dream come true.

It wasn't until I had gotten older that I found my passion through art. I enjoyed create neat characters, magical scenes and word art. I also realized I loved making art for others. To create a piece that brought joy, happiness and appreciation.

So i took my skills with me to college and worked on enhancing, revamping and building on them. I studied figure drawing to painting to graphic design. Soon after I gradated with a Bachelor of Arts at Fort Hays State University.

Years later I'm still adding to my toolbox of skills. Currently I'm expanding out to web coding and eventually programming.
